Welcome also to visit Vox Archangeli on Myspace.
Vox Archangeli combines original Gregorian chants from early medieval times with modern electronic sounds. The inspiration comes from a wide range of musical influences, from classical and folk music, through to pop and rock.
Vox Archangeli's debut album Sanctus : Michael [Heart Song Records / X5 Music] was produced by the Grammy winning Dan Sundquist, one of Sweden's most established producers, and released in 2009. The second album in the continuing Sanctus project – Sanctus : Gabriel [Heart Song Records / X5 Music] – was recorded and produced by Daniel Palm, and released in January 2010. In addition to the vocal tracks – introducing a new musical genre called gregorian lounge music – both albums features four instrumental air movements, created in co-operation with Jonas Strömberg at Slowbeat Studio.
The members of Vox Archangeli were previously part of the techno/pop-oriented group Vox Nova, whose debut album Sapientia [Heart Song Records] was first released in 2007, and will be released in a new remixed version in September 2010.
Music by both Vox Archangeli and Vox Nova has been featured on several international compilations.
