Vox Archangeli makes a strategic comeback with the new single Archangelus Michael on January 21, 2026.

The Swedish ensemble Vox Archangeli is back with new music for the first time since 2019. On January 21, the group will release the single Archangelus Michael, once again showcasing their signature blend of Gregorian chant and newly composed string arrangements.

Over the years, Vox Archangeli has built a devoted audience both in Sweden and internationally. They have charted on various lists, including when their debut album Sanctus: Michael entered the Swedish sales charts, and their follow-up Sanctus: Gabriel was named “Newcomer of the Week” on SverigeTopplistan. The group has also appeared on TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon and received recognition for their unique artistic expression.

In Archangelus Michael, they continue to explore their signature style: a mix of atmospheric vocals and orchestral arrangements. The result is a dreamy, cinematic soundscape that builds on their previous music while introducing a clear new energy.

It has been over five years since Vox Archangeli released new material, the last being Filium Dei (2019), making this upcoming release eagerly anticipated by both fans and the industry.
